Libyan army detachments from Brigade 444 destroy a convoy engaged in drug smuggling in the Libyan desert.

Tripoli, July 17, 2023 (Lana) The Libyan army detachments, after an ambush in the Libyan desert, destroyed a convoy consisting of several armed vehicles engaged in robbery and drug smuggling of all kinds.
Brigade (444) Fighting said in a statement on its official page that after a direct clash, its detachments were able to target all the vehicles and kill "six" smugglers of non-Libyan nationalities and arrest "three" other people, indicating that two soldiers of the army were injured.
It added that this operation comes within the military plan of the Libyan army, which aims to eliminate smugglers, their dens, and outlaws in the Libyan desert.
Brigade 444 fighting confirmed that they will continue to demolish all smuggling dens, arrest smugglers, and dismantle networks run by gangs.
