Al-Manfi and his Kenyan counterpart discuss a number of regional and continental issues.

Nairobi, July 16, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Manfi", discussed this evening, Sunday, at the Kenyan Presidential Palace, with the President of the Republic of Kenya, "William Ruto", ways of developing prospects for relations and advancing frameworks for joint cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting dealt with coordination of positions between the two countries within the framework of their membership in the 10th Committee of the African Union on the reform of the UN Security Council, in addition to consultation on the crisis situation in Sudan within the framework of the efforts of Sudan’s neighboring countries and the “IGAD” group, and the unification of African, Arab and international efforts to solve the brotherly Sudan crisis. .

The Kenyan President welcomed Al-Manfi's visit to Nairobi, praising the friendship and fraternal ties that bind the two countries, wishing Libya stability and peace and its return to its position in the leadership of the African Union.

For his part, Al-Manfi praised the relations that bind Libya with the African Union countries, especially the Republic of Kenya, stressing the importance of working to continue developing various frameworks of joint cooperation and pushing them to broader horizons, in addition to intensive coordination and consultation on developments in various issues on the African continent.
