Cairo | July 13, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Thursday, the summit of the leaders of the seven neighboring countries of Sudan kicked off in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, to settle the Sudanese conflict peacefully, in the presence of the President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad al-Manfi," and the heads of state of Eritrea, South Sudan, Central Africa, and the transitional president of the Republic of Sudan. Chad, in addition to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Ethiopia, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, and the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.
Al-Manfi met Thursday morning in Cairo with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, before the start of the summit of Sudan's neighboring countries, according to what was announced by the media office of the Presidential Council.
