Bathily calls for strengthening consensus and paving the way for inclusive national elections in Libya.

Tripoli, July 12, 2023 (LANA) - The UN envoy to Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily has praised the consultative and inclusive approach adopted by the Presidential Council in managing the economic file, saying that it sets an example for other tracks.
This came in a tweet he posted on his Twitter account after his meeting with the Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, Wednesday.
Bathily said, "I met today in Tripoli with the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed al-Menfi, and I reviewed with him the overall political, security and economic developments in Libya."
Bathily urged all political and security actors and parties in Libya to adopt the same consultative and comprehensive approach, promote consensus and pave the way for comprehensive national elections.
