ALafi and Canadian ambassador to Libya discuss ways to fair elections that end transitional stages .

Tripoli, July 12, 2023 (LANA) – Member of Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, discussed, Wednesday, with the Canadian Ambassador to Libya, Isabelle Savard, developments of the political process in Libya.
The two sides discussed ways to reach fair elections, in which everyone participates and accepts, that ends the transitional stages, and stresses the need for the active participation of women and youth in the political process and the path of reconciliation, led by Presidential Council.
During the meeting, the two sides also reviewed bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation opportunities between the two countries, according to Presidential Council report on its Facebook page.
For her part, Ambassador, Isabelle Savard reaffirmed her country's support for work of the Presidential Council in the path of reconciliation, and its endeavors in the political track.
