Tripoli, July 12, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, received today, Wednesday, an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin, to participate in the Russia-Africa Summit, which is scheduled to be held at the end of this month.
This came during Al-Manfi's reception of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Libya, "Idar Aghanin," according to the media office of the President of the Council.
During the meeting, according to the media office, the Russian ambassador affirmed his country's support for the decision to form the Supreme Finance Committee to regulate public spending and enhance transparency with the participation of all Libyan parties, and that all solutions be exclusively Libyan ownership.
