Al-Dabaiba receives the Maltese Foreign Minister

Tripoli, July 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba", received this morning, Tuesday, the Maltese Foreign Minister, "Ian Burge" and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting, which was held at the Prime Minister's Office, dealt with strengthening cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially in the files of combating irregular migration, and supporting the efforts of joint committees in the field of alternative energies.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Najlaa Al-Mangoush, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Director of the Foreign Affairs Department at the Council of Ministers.

Borg affirmed his country's support for the efforts made to hold elections in accordance with fair laws and to end the transitional stages, praising the stability that Libya is witnessing under the government of national unity.
