Delegation of the AU High-Level Committee hands over a letter to the Speaker of the HoR regarding preparations for the National Reconciliation Conference in Libya.

Benghazi, July 9, 2023 (Lana) The Director of the Office of Presidency of the House of Representatives (HoR), Awad Al-Fitouri, met yesterday in Benghazi with the delegation of the African Union High-Level Committee, which is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Congo, Brazzaville, Jean-Claude Jakoso.
Al-Fetouri received a letter from the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Mousa Faki, to the Speaker of the HoR, Ageela Saleh, about preparation for the National Reconciliation Conference in Libya, according to the spokesman of the HoR, Abdullah Belihaq.
It includes "Mohamed Labat" the Strategic Adviser and Director of the Office of the Chairperson of the AU Commission, "Wahida Ayari", the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the Commission of the AU to Libya, and "Bris Nazar Alinga Haibara", the Political Advisor to the Chairperson of the Commission of the AU.
