Al-Manfi is discussing with the special envoy of the Congolese president the steps taken to convene the inclusive national conference for reconciliation.

Tripoli, July 05, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Mohamed Al-Manfi", received today, Wednesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Congo-Brazzaville, "Jean-Claude Jakoso", the special envoy of the Congolese President, "Denis Sassou Nguesso," the head of the high-level committee on Libyan affairs.

    The media office of the President of the Council stated that the meeting discussed the latest developments in the national reconciliation project adopted by the Council, the steps taken in preparation for the convening of the inclusive national conference for reconciliation, and proposals that guarantee the success of this national event, through the participation of all actors.

       The office added that "Al-Manfi" praised the role played by the Congolese President, the Chairman of the High-level Committee on Libyan Affairs, and the Chairman of the African Union Commission, for the success of the reconciliation project to achieve reconciliation, peace and stability in all parts of Libya.
