The Public Prosecution office receives the wanted from the city of Zawiya, and announces the opening of the coastal road.

Tripoli, July 5, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Wednesday, the Public Prosecutor’s Office announced the transfer of the wanted person from the city of Zawiya, “A.K.”, to the office’s headquarters, with the help of members of the Directorate Support Force in the regions, the Stability Support Agency, and the Law Enforcement Department branch, who contributed to bringing in the accused. Therefore the coastal road from Tripoli to Ras Jadir was opened.

   According to a post on the official page of the Public Prosecutor’s Office on Facebook, the Public Prosecutor, Counselor “Al-Siddiq Al-Sour,” instructed his representative to carry out investigation procedures in the incidents attributed to the accused within the framework of the established procedural guarantees.

      Yesterday, Tuesday, the head of the government of national unity - the Minister of Defense - ordered the formation of a joint military force consisting of (450) armed vehicles to restore traffic on the coastal road, Tripoli - Ras Ajdir.

   This came in a letter addressed to a number of commanders and heads of military units (Brigade 444 - Brigade 111 - Brigade 52 - Battalion 166 - Deterrence Apparatus for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime - Stability Support Apparatus - Public Security Apparatus and Security Concentrations - Security Threats Apparatus - Apparatus for Combating Terrorism and Extremist Organizations And the Joint Operations Force - Electronic Aviation Authority - Reserve Division in the Anti-Terrorism Force).

The letter assigned this military force to restore traffic on the coastal road, Tripoli - Ras Jadir, and to take measures to bring the suspect wanted by the Public Prosecutor who was arrested at the Ras Jadir port.
