The President of the Presidential Council meets a number of academics, dignitaries and sheikhs in Libya

Tripoli, June 21, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Manfi", met today, Wednesday, with a number of academics, notables, and sheikhs in Libya, to discuss ways to support the national reconciliation file led by the Council.

The academics, notables, and sheikhs praised the positive role of the Presidency Council in making the reconciliation file a success, and in the political process in general, affirming their support for the political leadership represented by the Presidency Council and its president in all files that it deals with.

In turn, Al-Manfi emphasized during the meeting the role of academics, notables and sheikhs in Libya in order to support the reconciliation file and activate it in a real way throughout the country.

He said that the Presidential Council deals with all Libyan regions and cities alike, and deals with all international and local parties as partners, and listened to everyone through our meetings and visits to the east, south and west.

Al-Manfi explained that the Council dealt with all political and social files positively in a way that serves the interest of the country and the citizen, including the files of the release of political detainees, and the return of the displaced in the country in general to their cities and regions.
