The President of the Presidential Council and the Head of the Government of National Unity discuss spending for the year 2023.

Tripoli, June 14, 2023 (LANA) - The meeting that was held this evening, Wednesday, in the Cabinet Office, between the President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Manfi" and the President of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba," was devoted to discussing spending for the year 2023.
During the meeting, the right of all Libyans, without exception, to fair development and to benefit from their resources in a transparent manner was emphasized under a comprehensive national mechanism that guarantees its territorial integrity and sovereignty over its resources.
During the meeting, Al-Manfi stressed that transparency and disclosure of all expenditures, and clarification of the beneficiaries, is an important step that must be completed with joint leadership to set priorities for public spending and a national plan for economic reform.
