Participants from HoR attend the second session of the African Parliament's sixth legislative session in Midrand.

Tripoli 16 May 2023 (Lana) Members of the House of Representatives (HoR),and permanent members of the African Parliament, Youssef Al-Fakhri, Salem Qanan, and Saleh Qalameh, participated in the opening of the second session of the 6th legislative session of the African Parliament, which was held in Midrand, South Africa.

According to the HoR Facebook page, yesterday, the African Parliament's session was titled, "African Union 2023" and "Accelerating the Implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area "(AfCFTA)."

The Head of the AU, the guest of honor of the session, affirmed in a speech the Union's support for Parliament as the legislative body of the Union, followed by a speech by the President of the African Parliament, and the session also witnessed the swearing-in of the new members of the African Parliament.

It's noteworthy that the second regular session of the 6th legislative session will last from May 15 to June 2, 2023.
