Mitiga airport receives the first flights of EgyptAir for air cargo after a hiatus that lasted for years.

Tripoli 15 May 2023 (Lana) The Libyan Ground Services Company received, yesterday, EgyptAir's first cargo flights, after a hiatus of more than 8 years.

The first EgyptAir cargo flights arrived at Mitiga Airport, where all ground and handling services were provided to the aircraft, in addition to the process of storing and delivering goods to their owners.

The Ministry of Transportation stated on its Facebook page that the resumption of EgyptAir's flights comes within the framework of expanding the company's activity, noting that it is expected that it will continue to operate its flights regularly, at a rate of 5 flights per week.
