(Al-Mangoush) is following the measures taken by the embassy in Khartoum to evacuate the Libyan community residing in Sudan.

Tripoli, May 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Naglaa Al-Mangoush," followed up today, Thursday, with the Libyan Ambassador to Sudan, "Fawzi Boumeriz," the measures taken by the embassy to evacuate the Libyan community residing in Sudan as a result of the recent security developments that took place in some Sudanese cities.

    The minister listened to the ambassador's briefing on the latest developments in the Sudanese arena, and the efforts that can be made to help the brotherly Sudanese people in these circumstances, as well as the possibility of communicating with the parties concerned in the conflict to calm the situation and strengthen efforts for calm and stability.

   During the meeting, the minister affirmed Libya's support and readiness to support mediation efforts between the conflicting parties in brotherly Sudan, and to support humanitarian efforts that seek to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of the recent circumstances they are going through.
