Pulbished on:Tripoli, May 10, 2023 (LANA) - Next Monday, the Kingdom of the Netherlands will officially open the headquarters of its embassy in Libya, and it will start its work from the capital, Tripoli, which has been closed since 2014.
The Libyan News Agency learned that an official opening ceremony will be held on this occasion, in the presence of the Dutch Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation, "Kitty van der Heijden," Libyan officials, members of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited to Libya, and the media.
According to informed sources, the Dutch official is scheduled to hold a press conference during a ceremonial ceremony to announce the official opening of the Dutch embassy.
It is noteworthy that a large number of embassies, consulates and diplomatic missions of brotherly and friendly countries, and UN and regional missions, reopened their headquarters to work from Tripoli after the security situation improved in Libya following the military confrontations that took place in 2014.
