NCDC launches the "Vaccination is Protection" initiative in Derna.

Tripoli 4 May 2023 (Lana) The "Vaccination is Protection" initiative was launched yesterday in Derna, which was organized by the National Centre for Disease Control ("NCDC") in cooperation with UNICEF and the organization "To Encourage the Local Community to Receive Vaccinations".
The Center stated on its SMS page that the initiative began with the training of the field awareness teams, meeting with influencers and activists in the municipality to encourage the local community to get immunized, and the organization of a panel discussion with the medical staff to learn about the most significant issues preventing society from having access to immunizations.
The center indicated that the local awareness teams started their work by by touring marketplaces and medical facilities in the municipality with the aim of educating the community on the importance of vaccination.
