Tripoli, April 11, 2023 (LANA) - The United Kingdom's Ambassador to Libya, "Caroline Hurndall", renewed her country's support for the efforts of the High Electoral Commission to implement national elections.

       In her meeting with the President of the High Electoral Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, today, Tuesday, in Tripoli, Caroline appreciated the Commission's efforts and level of readiness to achieve free and fair elections. The meeting, which was attended by members of the Commission, reviewed the latest developments in the electoral processes planned for this year, and discussed what support and expertise can be provided in the field of managing and implementing elections, and ways to support proposals and endeavors that ensure their success in accordance with international standards.
