Tripoli, April 5, 2023 (LANA) - Minister of Communications in the Government of National Unity, "Mohamed Al-Shahoubi", discussed today, Wednesday, with the Algerian Ambassador to Libya, "Suleiman Chenine," the problems and obstacles that delayed the opening of the border crossing (Dabdab Ghadames) and how to solve them, and open the crossing as soon as possible to facilitate traffic movement .
The Ministry of Communications stated that the meeting reviewed issues of common interest in the field of transportation and discussed aspects of cooperation and opening horizons in all fields related to the transportation sector.
During the meeting held at the ministry's office, Minister Al-Shahoubi praised the depth of relations between the two countries, stressing his keenness to strengthen them.
In turn, the Algerian ambassador expressed his country's determination and desire to strengthen friendship and joint cooperation in the field of transportation, activate cooperation at various levels, and search for ways to return flights between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by "Khaled Souissi," Undersecretary of the Ministry for Air Transport Affairs, "Faisal Arhaima," advisor to the Minister of Communications, "Adel Ibrahim," Director of the Cooperation Office at the Ministry's Court, and the delegation accompanying the Algerian ambassador.
