Al-Dabaiba discusses with the Economic and Social Development Fund the activation of large suspended investment projects.

Tripoli 4, April 2023 (Lana) The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul-Hamid Al-Dabaiba, visited yesterday the office of the Economic and Social Development Fund to follow up on the conditions of the fund and its affiliates.
Al-Dabaiba , during an expanded meeting held with the Management Committee, the General Manager, and the directors of the fund's subsidiaries, confirmed that his visit is to discuss activating the fund's large investment projects that have been suspended for ten years, the most important of which are Nalut Cement Factory, Marriott Hotel, Andalus Complex, Al-Madina Mall, and Al-Gazala Mall, as well as other projects that have been transferred to the Fund, but no measures have been taken to activate and implement them.
He also issued his instructions on the need to regulate the area of work of the subsidiaries and define their scope of work on a regular basis, and not to continue the overlapping of competencies between the companies, according to what was published by the Prime Minister's Communication Office on its Facebook page.
