Bengdara meets the advisor to the US President.

Washington, March 15, 2023 (Lana) The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Farhat Bengdara, met the advisor to the US President and coordinator for Middle East affairs in the National Security Council, Brett McGurk.
The meeting, which was held at the White House, was attended by Jeremy Bernstein, a North Africa official at the National Security Council.
The American part commended the important role of the corporation in achieving energy security in Libya and the region, as well as for lifting force majeure and continuing oil and gas production and export operations, which greatly contributed to security and economic stability.
This meeting comes within a series of meetings held by Bengdara on the sidelines of the CERAWEEk conference with the US government, which stressed its support for the Corporation and its Board of Directors to implement its strategy in capacity building and raising oil and gas production.
