US and AU discuss support for UN efforts towards elections in Libya.

Tripoli, February 28, 2023 (LANA) - Chargé d'Affairs of the United States Embassy to Libya, Leslie Ordeman, has discussed with the Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission to Libya, Wahida Ayari, joint support for establishing a track for elections in Libya. 

 In a tweet published by the US embassy on its Twitter account during the meeting, the US diplomat expressed his appreciation for the "leading" role of the African Union in advancing national reconciliation in Libya.
