Indonesian chargé d'affaires confirms his country's support for democratic process in Libya.

Tripoli, February 19, 2023 (LANA) - The Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of Indonesia to Libya, Didi Ahmed Rifai, affirmed, Sunday, his country's support for the democratic process in Libya.

    Sources of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC)stated that the head of the Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, reviewed during his meeting today with Rifai issues related to the electoral issue, noting that this meeting comes within the framework of the international community's support for the democratic path in Libya.

      The Indonesian Chargé d'Affaires praised the efforts made by the Commission and those in charge of it in order to provide ideal conditions for holding the elections in accordance with the highest international standards.

     For his part, Al-Sayeh praised the efforts of the international community in support of the commission, which aims to end the transitional phase through an electoral process that fulfills the aspirations of Libyan men and women in a stable democratic state.
