Istanbul, February 18, 2023 (LANA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his appreciation to the Libyan people and the national unity government, for standing with Turkey in this ordeal after the earthquake that struck southern Turkey on the sixth of this month.

This came during Erdogan's reception, today, Saturday, in Istanbul, to Prime Minister Abdel Hamid al-Dbaiba and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Siddik al-Kabeer, who offered condolences to the Turkish presidency and people, stressing the solidarity of the Libyan people with their brothers in Turkey as a result of the earthquake.

  The Turkish president praised the efforts of the Libyan relief, support and emergency teams, which are participating in the various humanitarian relief work with the Turkish teams, stressing the depth of the Libyan-Turkish relations and the common and solid positions between the two countries, according to the media office of the Prime Minister of National Unity.
