Tripoli, 15 February 2023 (Lana) Algerian Foreign Minister Ramadan Lamamra reiterated his country's support for Libya and the Government of National Unity in holding elections as soon as possible. This came during his meeting today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al Mangoush, on the sidelines of their participation in the work of the 42nd ordinary session of the Executive Council of the African Union, held in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, according to what was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Communication office SMS page.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the most important issues of common interest, stressing their keenness to continue coordination and consultation on various files and exchange of support in regional and international forums, especially with regard to supporting the file of joint Arab action.
