Tripoli, February 11, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, "Muhammad Al-Mnifi", begins today, Saturday, a visit to the city of Benghazi.
The media office of the President of the Presidential Council said that "Al-Mnifi" will hold several meetings in the city of Benghazi with the Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal "Khalifa Haftar" and the city's activists.
Al-Mnifi tweeted before announcing his visit to Benghazi, saying, “Achieving international and national consensus on the need for elections before the end of 2023 requires the implementation of correct and transparent consensual electoral laws regarding them before the end of next April, or the implementation of current legislation.”
In his tweet on Twitter, Al-Mnifi renewed the presidential commitment to the governing road map for the stage emanating from the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, the Berlin outputs, and the Security Council resolutions, to complete the entitlements of the preliminary stage and achieve its ultimate goal; he said.
