Italian Foreign Minister: Libya's stability is a priority of Italian foreign policy.

Rome, February 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, "Antonio Taiani," affirmed his country's readiness to work with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) to keep Libya united and organize the 2023 elections.

This came during his meeting , Friday, in Rome with the United Nations envoy to Libya, "Abdullah Batelli," according to the Italian news agency (Nova).

The Italian Foreign Minister said - according to the agency - I assured Battelli Italy's full support for the work of the United Nations in Libya, stressing that stability in Libya is a priority for Italian foreign policy, as well as to confront illegal immigration flows.
