India is studying the return of its embassy to Tripoli and the return of its companies to work in Libya

Tripoli, February 8, 2023 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation and Organizations, Omar Kuti, received today, Wednesday, the Indian Ambassador to Libya, Ngolkham Gangti.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Cooperation, Omar Katti, said that he discussed with the Indian ambassador the possibility of moving the Indian embassy from Tunisia to Tripoli, and the return of Indian companies to work in the country.

He added that, he discussed with the Indian ambassador cooperation in the field of international organizations, nominations for positions in international organizations, and many issues of common concern.

During the meeting, the Indian ambassador affirmed support for the efforts of the national unity government, to hold elections as soon as possible, and to promote stability in Libya.
