Tripoli, January 18, 2023 AD (LANA) - Representative in the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi," discussed this morning, Wednesday, with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, "Giuseppe Botino Grimaldi," the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

  This came during the meeting held between them at the Presidential Council office in Tripoli, and dealt with the developments of the Libyan political scene, as well as the conclusions of the preparatory forum for national reconciliation, which was held during the past week, with the participation of representatives of all political parties.

The Presidential Media Office stated that the Italian ambassador praised during the meeting the efforts of the Presidential Council in the file of national reconciliation, considering that the preparatory forum for the inclusive conference was an important and successful step for the Presidential Council, reaffirming his country's support for all efforts supporting stability in Libya, leading to the elections.
