The United Nations Development Program and the Spanish government sign an agreement to support the electoral process in Libya.

Tripoli, January 18, 2023 (LANA) - Today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, the High National Elections Commission signed an agreement to support the electoral process in Libya, the (PEPOL) project.

The signing of the agreement was attended by the Chairman of the High Electoral Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, and a number of experts and directors of departments and sections of the Commission.

The agreement aims to provide technical and advisory support for the electoral process, which is supervised by the United Nations Mission

 

  The agreement was signed on behalf of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) “Marc-Andre Franch”, and on behalf of the Spanish government, the Spanish ambassador to Libya “Javier Larache”.
