Benghazi 18 January 2023 (Lana) The Chargé d'Affairs of the US Embassy to Libya, Leslie Ordeman, expressed his honor, yesterday, to visit the tomb of Omar Mukhtar, in Benghazi, on the sidelines of his visit to the city.
Ordeman described on his Twitter, Omar Al-Mukhtar ,as the Lion of the Desert, who defended the sovereignty of Libya against foreign forces.
“Omar Al-Mukhtar remains a symbol of Libyan unity and national pride, his legacy of bringing together Libyans to work in harmony for freedom will always be remembered,” he added.
