Meetings of (5 + 5) committee in Sirte, kicks off in presence of Bathily.

Sirte, 15 January, 2023 (Lana) - The Joint Military Committee (5 + 5) began, Sunday, its 10th meeting at its permanent headquarters in the city of Sirte, in the presence of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General - Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Abdoulaye Bathily and his accompanying delegation.

Reporter of the Libyan News Agency in Sirte stated that the meetings of the committee had begun in closed sessions, Sunday, and, Monday, in order to discuss the outcomes of its previous meetings, especially with regard to the cease-fire, exit of mercenaries and foreign fighters from Libyan territory, as well as the issue of exchange of detainees between the two sides.
