Al-Manqoush stresses the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in approving the constitutional rule

Tripoli, January 11, 2023 (LANA) - Members of the House of Representatives discussed, today, Wednesday, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, "Najla al-Manqoush," political developments in Libya.

And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that, during the meeting - which was held in Tripoli - Al-Manqoush stressed the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in expediting the approval of the constitutional rule to expedite the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections, on democratic and legal grounds.

The ministry added that it was agreed on the need to continue coordination and political consultation to ensure the security and stability of Libya, leading to the stage of stability and lasting prosperity.
