Dabaiba stresses the need to complete the stalled housing projects in all municipalities.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, January 11, 2023 (LANA) The head of the government of national unity, "Abdul Hamid Al-Dabiba," stressed the need to complete the stalled projects and give them priority in the Ministry of Housing's plan, and to address the basic problems in the municipalities.
This came during the expanded meeting held by "Al-Dabaiba" this afternoon with the Minister of Housing and Construction "Abu Bakr Al-Ghawi" and the head of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency "Mahmoud Ajaj" to follow up and discuss the implementation of the utility projects plan for the year 2023.
During the meeting, Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to focus on water and sanitation projects, and to give them priority due to the importance of these services to citizens, in addition to developing a clear plan of action to start implementing the Third Ring Road after providing the value of the project for its importance.
He also stressed the need to ensure a fair distribution of water and sanitation projects in all regions of Libya, the most important of which is the water supply project in Derna.
For his part, the head of the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency gave a detailed presentation of the agency's plan, which aims to implement (383) projects from the development allocations for the fiscal year 2022, complete ongoing projects, and solve the main bottlenecks in municipalities.
The meeting, which was attended by the directors of the technical departments of the agency, reviewed the executive procedures for a number of projects, the most important of which are the third ring road project, the Sebha sewage treatment plant, and the construction of 4 bridges in Benghazi, after covering the financial allocations for the projects.
