Chadian Embassy in Libya: 85 Chadian citizens were deported to their country after ending their sentences in reform and rehabilitation institutions.

Tripoli, January 11, 2023 (LANA) - The Chadian embassy in Libya announced today, Wednesday, the deportation of 85 Chadian citizens to their country after completing the sentences issued against them in reform and rehabilitation institutions.

The embassy said in a statement on its official Facebook page that the deportation process took place in coordination between the Embassy of the Republic of Chad in Libya and the Agency for Combating Illegal Immigration, as they were identified by the embassy and travel documents were issued to them to facilitate their return by land to their country.

The embassy extended its thanks and appreciation to the competent Libyan authorities, "the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency and the Passport Investigation Department" for the good cooperation and mutual coordination to facilitate the safe return of its citizens to their homeland.
