Medical staff from North Korea, including 38 doctors and nurses, returns to work at Kufra Hospital

Kufra, January 10, 2023 (LANA) - A medical staff from North Korea arrived in the city of Kufra today, Tuesday, consisting of 38 medical and paramedical personnel.

Al-Kufra Teaching Hospital said that the medical staff that arrived at the hospital numbered 26 male and female doctors in the specialties of general surgery, anesthesia, gynecology, childbirth, nose, ear, throat, children, heart, arteries, bones, abdomen, mouth, teeth and physiotherapy, in addition to 12 male and female nurses.

  It is noteworthy that the Korean medical staff who were working in Kufra left the country in the summer of 2015 as a result of the poor security situation in the region.
