Libya and Turkey are discussing security cooperation in the areas of combating crimes and localizing specialized training.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 27, 2022 (LANA) - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General "Mahmoud Saeed", discussed today, Tuesday, with the Advisor for Security Cooperation and Interior Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey, Colonel "Muhammad Saura", ways to enhance security cooperation between the two countries' ministries of interior.
The meeting dealt with coordinating cooperation with regard to preparing specialized training courses for employees of the Libyan Ministry of Interior to raise their efficiency and capabilities in combating crimes and maintaining security, and benefiting from these courses to localize specialized training within the Libyan Ministry of Interior.
The meeting was attended by the liaison officer at the Turkish Ministry of Interior, "Ali Fool", the head of the Criminal Investigation Service, Major General "Mahmoud Ashour", the director of the Department of Relations and Cooperation, Major General "Salah al-Din bin Suleiman", and the director of the Office of Communication and International Cooperation, Brigadier General "Abu Rabih Makhlouf".
