Aboul Gheit confirms to Al-Manfi readiness of Arab League to support Libya in any effort to unify Libyans.

Cairo, 27 December, 2022 (Lana) - Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has renewed the League's readiness to assist and support Libya in every serious and sincere endeavor aimed at unifying the Libyans and advancing the political process, which leads to holding elections, unifying the military establishment, and establishing permanent stability in the country. .

This came during a meeting of Abu Al-Ghaith with the President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, , Tuesday, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo,.

During his visit to the League's headquarters, Al-Manfi also met with permanent representatives and ambassadors of Arab countries, and presented the Presidential Council's vision to resolve the Libyan crisis within the framework of its constitutional terms of reference and in accordance with the provisions of the road map.

According to the media office of Presidential Council, Al-Manfi made presentation about developments of situation in Libya, and reviewed his vision for priorities of the solution at the current stage, which are based on the political, constitutional and economic tracks, stressing that the reconciliation project adopted by the Council is a comprehensive and long-term project.
