Constitutional track conference stresses overcoming existing political bodies and setting date for elections.

Tripoli, 27 December, 2022 (Lana) – The second conference of the Constitutional track was held in Tripoli, Tuesday, with the participation of throng of thinkers, professors, and those interested in the constitutional path.
The meeting concluded with the following recommendations:
- Bypassing all existing political bodies, cause of political stalemate and resorting to constitutional rule emanating from constitutional track conference held in Tripoli on August 3, 2022.
- Forming a delegation to communicate with the President of the Presidential Council and convey the demands of the proponents of the constitutional rule, which has become a popular demand, being the path that establishes the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections.
- Press the High National Elections Commission to set a definitive and final date for elections and to announce the final lists of candidates.
- Formation of communication committees made up of parliamentary and presidential candidates and heads of parties to communicate with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).
