 Tripoli, 22 December 2022 (Lana) Chairman of the Board of the High National Election Commission Imad Al-Sayeh discussed with President of the Libyan Women's Union Fathia Al-Bakhbakhi enhancing women's participation in the upcoming electoral process.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the HNEC in Tripoli, focused on issues related to women's electoral participation and ways to enhance cooperation with the Libyan Women's Union, according to what was published by the HNEC on its website.

 The two parties also discussed supporting the partnership between the commission and the union, by promoting joint awareness that includes implementation of a package of training programs and workshops with the aim of enhancing women's electoral participation.
