Cairo, 22 December, 2022 (LANA) - The Arab Tourism Organization has approved the ex-chairman of the General Authority for Tourism, Khaider Bashir Malik, as Vice-Chairman of the High Advisory Council of the Arab Tourism Organization.

This came in a decision issued by the organization, a copy of which was obtained by the Libyan News Agency. The council includes specialists in the field of tourism from member states of the Arab Ministerial Council on Tourism and members of the Arab Tourism Organization, who are known for their competence and long experience in the field of tourism.

The Council is considered one of the most important councils within the framework of the organization and undertakes the tasks of studying the obstacles facing Arab investments in the tourism sector, issuing regular economic reports, and holding forums and workshops for Arab countries, aiming to develop solutions, and share opinions and ideas for developing capital flows between Arab countries.
