Al-Lafi announces launch of Women's Forum for National Reconciliation.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 20 December 2022 (Lana) Vice President of Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi announced in Tripoli on Tuesday launch of the activities of the Women's Forum for National Reconciliation, in the presence of the Chairman of the Committee to Follow up the Implementation of the National Reconciliation Project in the Presidential Council, Ayman Seif Al-Nasr, the Advisor to the Presidential Council for Reconciliation, the African Union Envoy for National Reconciliation, Mohamed Hassan Al-Labbad, a member of the Legal Committee for National Reconciliation, and a member of the Legal Committee for National Reconciliation, Jazia Shaitir and a large number of active women in The field of national reconciliation.
In his opening speech, Al-Lafi stressed that national reconciliation is one of the most important projects that the Presidential Council is working on, in all its aspects, and seeks to be on sound foundations, to ensure the stability of the country, and to reach the elections, pointing out that Libyans agreed to form a government, and they were unable to reach elections and that the country has a unified political administration.
He praised the role of Libyan women who contribute to the success of the reconciliation project, which the Council has been keen to make a success, as the project that establishes the elections to which all Libyans aspire.
For his part, the Chairman of the follow up committee to the Implementation of the national reconciliation project in the Presidential Council, Ayman Seif Al-Nasr, stressed that the national reconciliation project is a project with a clear vision that will be the path to stability in Libya, in reference to the active role of Libyan women in this context.
For his part, Mohammed Hassan Al-Labbad stressed importance of the national reconciliation project, and the effective steps achieved since its inception, and confirms the desire of the Presidential Council to succeed and benefit from the experiences of countries that have succeeded in this field.
