Minister of Oil and Gas receives the Indonesian ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, 19 December, 2022 (Lana) - Minister of Oil and Gas, Mohamed Aoun, received at the ministry's office in Tripoli, the Indonesian ambassador to Libya, Didi Ahmed Rifai, and his accompanying delegation.

     The Ministry's Information and Communication Office stated, Monday, that the minister explained to the ambassador the history of the oil and gas sector in Libya, as well as an overview of the Libyan oil law and its stages of development, which clarifies the role and tasks of the ministry and its relationship with the National Oil Corporation and the institutions of other countries.

      The minister touched on the development of the oil and gas sector and the ministry's vision in this regard, stressing the brotherly bonds between the two countries and the importance of international companies with expertise to contribute to the development and exploration of land and sea areas that have not yet been explored, and the possibility of benefiting between the two countries in developing cadres and exchanging expertise in the Oil and gas sector.

     For his part, the ambassador stressed the importance of increasing cooperation between Indonesia and Libya, stressing his country's aspiration to increase cooperation, urging the need to continue meetings between the two sides for the benefit of the two countries.

       The meeting was attended by the director of the minister's office, "Abdul Bari Quneidi," the advisor "Ahmed Al-Ghaber," and "Asim Mohammad Abu Zaid," the director of the Office of International Relations and Cooperation.
