Tripoli, December 14, 2022 (LANA)- The deputy in the Presidential Council, "Abdullah Al-Lafi," received today, Monday, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Libya, "Javier Larache", to discuss developments in the political situation in Libya.

   The council's sources stated that the meeting discussed the efforts of the Presidential Council to resolve the political crisis, and the steps it took to achieve an agreed-upon mechanism, which would enable it to go to the electoral events that the Libyan people aspire to.

     For his part, the ambassador assured MP "Al-Lafi" of his country's support for any path that leads to parliamentary and presidential elections, and contributes to supporting the democratic path. Sheikhs, notables, and youth.
