Tripoli, December 14, 2022 (LANA) - The Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation of the Government of National Unity, "Ali Al-Abed Al-Ridha," discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy to Libya, "Wong Chi-Sen," strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of employment, training in vocational skills, and other fields.
Ministry sources said that "Al-Ridha" affirmed, during the meeting that took place today, Wednesday, in Tripoli, the friendly relations between the two countries and cooperation between them in various fields.
According to the sources, the meeting touched on the importance of training and vocational training, especially with regard to the Libyan-Chinese Center and its support mechanisms for training and qualifying job seekers in the city of Benghazi, in addition to discussing mechanisms for setting up training courses in the Chinese language, and learning from advanced technology, especially Huawei, because of its capabilities. This is through the Huawei Academy, with which the Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding.
For his part, the Chinese chargé d'affaires affirmed during the meeting his country's desire to deepen cooperation with Libya in the fields of work and employment, encourage and support Chinese institutions to invest in Libya, and the possibility of increasing job opportunities and developing the Libyan economy, and this depends on providing facilitation for Chinese companies to work and produce in Libya.
The meeting was attended by Counselor "Al-Sayeh Abu Darbala" and the Office of International Cooperation "Adel Al-Aqbi" and the Head of the Asian Section of the Department of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "Ibrahim Sassi".
