Turkish-Russian consensus on the importance of holding elections in Libya.

Istanbul, 12 December, 2022 (LANA) - The Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Sadat Onal, and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergey Vershinin, expressed their support for free, fair, and credible elections based on the broadest social consensus in Libya.

    The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement that this support for holding elections in Libya came as part of political consultations between the two parties during the eighth and ninth of this December in Istanbul.
