Tripoli, December 11, 2022 (LANA) - The Chargé d'Affairs of the United States Embassy to Libya, "Leslie Ordman," affirmed that his country fully supports the efforts of the United Nations envoy to Libya, "Abdullah Batili" in leading the Libyan dialogue, leading to elections.
This came in a tweet by "Ordman" published by the US embassy through its official account on the social networking site "Twitter" after his meeting with the UN envoy, "Abdullah Batili" in the capital, Tripoli.
"It was a pleasure to meet Batili, the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Libya," Ordman said.
He noted that his country fully supports Batili's efforts to lead a dialogue, among Libyan political institutions, that would lead to accelerating Libya's access to elections.
"Ordman" concluded: "We repeat Batili's message about the need to reach solutions to the current crisis in the country."
