The designate Minister of Interior discusses with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Palestinian Embassy the situation of the Palestinian community in Libya.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, December 11, 2022 (LANA) - Today, Sunday, the Designated Minister of Interior, "Imad Mustafa Trabelsi," discussed with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Palestinian Embassy in Libya, "Mohammed Rahal," the efforts exerted to facilitate the procedures for Palestinian citizens to enter Libya.
The meeting, which was held at the Ministry's office in Tripoli, in the presence of the Palestinian consul, "Imad Al-Din Al-Atili", discussed the conditions of the Palestinian community on the Libyan lands, in addition to reviewing the fraternal relations between the two countries, and ways to strengthen and develop them in the interest of the two brotherly peoples.
Trabelsi stressed during the meeting that the Ministry of the Interior will never hesitate to support the Palestinian brothers, explaining that the Ministry is working to facilitate the procedures for Palestinian citizens to enter Libya.
For his part, "Rahal" praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Interior in protecting and securing embassies and diplomatic missions, expressing his happiness with this meeting to raise a number of important issues.
At the end of the meeting, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Palestinian Embassy presented three shields to the Minister of Interior in appreciation of the position of the Libyan state and its people in supporting their Palestinian brothers.
