Nova News Agency: Technical meeting of the International Working Group on Libya to be held in Tunisia next Thursday.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, 6 December 2022 (Lana) The International Technical Meeting of the Working Group on Libya on Security will be held on Thursday in Tunis, chaired by the African Union, France, Italy, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), the Italian news agency Nova reported.
The agency quoted unnamed Libyan sources as saying that Italy will be represented at the meeting by the Italian Envoy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to Libya, Nicola Orland.
The so-called "Security Working Group" on Libya is part of the International Follow-up Committee, a body responsible for implementing what was agreed on the ground in the context of the Berlin process, namely at the two international conferences held in the German capital on January 19, 2020 and July 23, 2021, to push Libyans to leave past conflicts behind and take serious steps towards unifying institutions and ending the political conflict.
