Tripoli, 16 November 2022 (Lana) Speaker of the House of Representatives Ageela Saleh, met on Wednesday with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Abdoullaye Bathily. According to the official spokesman of the Council Abdullah Bleilheq the meeting, which was held at the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the city of Al Gubba focused on developments in the political and security situation in the country and how to get out of the current political stalemate, and push the political and security tracks. The meeting also discussed the constitutional process and ways to bring the country to elections as soon as possible and create the appropriate conditions for that.
